If you want total flexibility in your business, Zintel’s Time & Day-Based Routing allows you to direct calls to answer points according to your needs at different times of the day. This means you can catch and redirect every call, even when it comes after hours or during weekends, public holidays or vacations.
Getting set up is simple. Once you know when and where you’d like to send your calls, we can create redirection rules. Send calls to a different landline, a mobile, a voicemail or a play announcement. Create call answering rules that suit your business so you get your calls when and where you need them.
For example, if you switch office locations you can automatically redirect your calls to suit your schedule. Or set up a rule to minimise distractions to your workflow. It’s up to you. You’re in control of your call experience, no matter where you are and when they call.

Ken’s business has offices in both Wellington and Auckland. Depending on the time of year, the Auckland office closes 2 hours earlier than the Wellington store. So staff in each location had different availability to take calls. This made it tricky to cover all incoming calls. And public holidays for each region sometimes fall on different days of the year, which requires calls to be redirected to the open office.
So Ken set up an 0508 number with our Time & Day-Based Routing feature. Now he directs company calls to Auckland when they open in the morning and back to Wellington in the afternoon until close of business.

You can advice us of what you would like to have happen with your calls on a public holiday and we can set up the public holiday to behave as you require. The call can be diverted to a specific number for the public holiday or sent to a Voice to Email message bank. It’s totally up to you.
