What is Call Overflow – Sequential?

Customers expect you to answer the phone quickly. But what happens when you’re busy or can’t pick up in time? That’s where Call Overflow can help. This feature helps you and your team answer more calls and avoid lost opportunities.
When a customer calls, your first answer point will start to ring. If the call isn’t picked up within a set time (say, five seconds), it gets transferred to a different answer point. You can set up to five answer points to increase the chance that a team member is available to answer. Send calls to a landline, mobile or call centre.

Anna runs a small business selling cakes. She’s not always in her kitchen to answer calls at the main phone. So she uses Zintel’s overflow product to divert calls to her mobile when her main kitchen number is busy or not answered within 20 seconds.
If Anna can’t get the call on her kitchen’s landline, the call will come to her mobile. She also uses Voice to Email to make sure she gets the messages via email if she can’t pick up the phone.
