Can new customers access Virtual Receptionist without an Inbound Number Plan?

No. New customers must set up a new Inbound Number Plan. Virtual Receptionist is an optional extra you can add to your account.

Do current customers need to set up a new Inbound Number Plan to get Virtual Receptionist?

No. Our current customers can stick with their current plan. You can add Virtual Receptionist services to your account. This is not a standard feature, so it comes with extra charges.

What questions can my Virtual Receptionist ask?

Your receptionist can ask your customers up to five questions. You can specify these questions in your account settings. We suggest questions such as:

  • What is your name?
  • What do you need help with?
  • How can we best contact you to follow up?

Once your Virtual Receptionist has recorded this information from the call, they’ll send you an SMS or email with the details. You can then follow up with your customer as soon as you’re ready.
